This Privacy Policy explains how ThriveHigh AI by SaptRishi ("we," "us," or "our") handles your information when you interact with our AI service via the WhatsApp platform. By communicating with ThriveHigh AI on WhatsApp, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We primarily collect data that is necessary to provide and improve our AI study service. Since our service operates on the WhatsApp platform, some data is processed by Meta (WhatsApp's parent company).

1.1 Information We Collect Directly

We collect the following information when you interact with ThriveHigh AI:

• Message Content: The text, questions, and commands you send to the ThriveHigh AI number. This content is necessary for the AI to process your query and provide a relevant answer.
• Study Material Content: When you use features that involve processing your study materials (handwritten notes, PDFs, videos, etc.) within the app, we process this content to provide insights. Note: This material is processed within the ThriveHigh AI platform, not directly via WhatsApp.
• User ID: The WhatsApp ID associated with your phone number, which allows us to link your conversation history and subscription status to your ThriveHigh AI account.
• Usage Data: Time and frequency of your messages and interactions with the AI.

1.2 Information Collected by WhatsApp/Meta

As an intermediary platform, WhatsApp processes certain data for communication, including:

• Your Phone Number: Used for routing messages.
• Metadata: Information about the communication (time, delivery status, etc.).
• WhatsApp's Own Data: WhatsApp's collection and use of your data are governed by WhatsApp's separate Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Google Services Integration (Gmail & Calendar)

When you connect your Gmail and Google Calendar accounts to ThriveHigh AI, we access and process specific Google user data to provide you with personalized email and calendar summaries. This section explains how we handle Google data in compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy.

Data Accessed

When you authorize ThriveHigh AI to access your Google account, we access the following specific types of Google user data:

• Gmail Messages: Email content, subject lines, sender and recipient information, and timestamps from your Gmail account
• Google Calendar Events: Event titles, descriptions, dates, times, locations, and participant information from your Google Calendar
• Profile Information: Your Google account email address to link your Google data to your ThriveHigh AI account

Data Usage

We use your Google user data solely for the following purposes:

• Email Summaries: Generate AI-powered summaries of your recent emails, highlighting important messages, action items, and key information
• Calendar Insights: Provide summaries of your upcoming events and schedule
• Personalized Experience: Display summaries within your ThriveHigh AI dashboard for easy access

We do NOT:

• Read, access, or process emails or calendar events beyond what is necessary for providing summaries
• Use your Gmail or Calendar data for advertising purposes
• Use your Google data to train AI models or for any other purposes beyond providing our service

Data Sharing

We do not share your Google user data with any third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:

• AI Service Providers: We use OpenAI's API to generate summaries. Email and calendar content is sent to OpenAI solely for processing summaries and is not retained by OpenAI beyond the processing period as per their API Data Usage Policy
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
• Security & Protection: To protect the rights, property, or safety of ThriveHigh AI, our users, or the public

We will never sell your Google data to advertisers or other third parties.

Data Storage & Protection

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your Google user data:

• Encryption: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL
• Secure Storage: Generated summaries are stored in an encrypted database with access controls
• Account Access: Only you can access your email and calendar summaries through your authenticated ThriveHigh AI account
• OAuth 2.0: We use Google's OAuth 2.0 authorization protocol - we never store your Google password
• Limited Access Tokens: Access tokens can be revoked by you at any time through your Google Account settings

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your Google user data as follows:

• Summaries: Generated email and calendar summaries are stored until you disconnect your Gmail/Calendar account
• Access Tokens: OAuth access tokens are stored securely and are only used to fetch new data when you request a summary

You can delete your Google data at any time by:

• Disconnecting your Gmail/Calendar account from ThriveHigh AI (click "Disconnect Gmail" in your dashboard)
• Revoking ThriveHigh AI's access through your Google Account Permissions
• Contacting us at contact@thrivehigh.ai to request complete data deletion

Upon disconnection or deletion request, all your Google data, summaries, and access tokens will be permanently deleted from our systems immediately.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information exclusively for the following purposes:

• To Provide the AI Service: To process your questions and generate accurate, context-aware responses, linked to your uploaded study materials.
• To Improve AI Accuracy: To analyze query patterns and AI responses to continually enhance the safety, reliability, and speed of the ThriveHigh AI service.
• Safety and Compliance: To check every query against multi-layer safety filters to block harmful or inappropriate content, ensuring a safe and responsible learning environment.
• Account Management: To manage your subscription status (Trial or ₹299/month membership) and track usage limits.
• Customer Support: To respond to inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical assistance.

3. Data Storage and Security

• Security: We are committed to protecting your data. We implement technical and administrative safeguards (including encryption and access controls) designed to protect the information we process against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
• Retention: We retain your conversation history and study material content only as long as necessary to provide you with the service or as required by law.
• Study Materials: Your uploaded study materials are not shared with any external third parties, except as required to fulfill your specific AI queries (e.g., calling the internal ThriveHigh AI endpoint).

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal data (message content, phone number) to third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We share necessary data with our internal and third-party service providers (like the thrivehigh.ai endpoint) to process your requests and operate the AI service.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, subpoena, or if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with legal processes or protect our rights and property.

5. Study Groups

If you participate in the Study Groups feature:

• Shared Content: Any materials or messages you share within a Study Group will be accessible to all other members of that group. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other group members.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Deletion: Request the deletion of your personal data and conversation history (subject to legal obligations).
• Object/Restrict: Object to our processing of your personal data.
